Dust cannons create a powerful
mist using jet nozzles located on
the front of the cannon head.
The mist is driven forwards with
a strong air 昀氀ow generated by an
axial fan at the rear of the cannon.
The mist binds with dust particles
in the air, bringing them to the
ground and keeping the air free
of dust. The mist reach depends
on wind speed and direction,
our range includes models with
a reach of 30m – 100m*.

How our dust cannon range works:
DC20M
The majority of our cannons are available
as a ‘standalone’ cannon, which have no
integrated water storage, aren’t on a moveable base such as a trailer and don’t have an
integral power supply (they are powered by
mains), they are simply the cannon on its own.
The DC20M creates a 昀椀ne mist of water droplets
using jet nozzles located on the front of the cannon
head. The mist is driven forwards with a strong air
昀氀ow generated by a powerful fan at the rear of the
cannon. The mist reach/throw is around 20m for
a DC20M – this is dependent on weather conditions
and can be reduced or improved based on these.
The DC20M cannon head can rotate up to 290°,
allowing for maximum coverage and accessibility.
The DC20M is powered by a self-contained diesel
engine and supplied by a 2000l water bowser,
also integrated on a site-towable trailer.
We then also supply them as a ‘mobile’ version,
which include a site-tow trailer, integrated
power (diesel generator) and water storage
(usually 2000l bowser), these models can be
identi昀椀ed with the ‘M’ after their model name.
We also provide a range of other options
on each model dependent on its capabilities,
such as just trailer-mounted, these are listed
below each individual model.
